If I didn’t need to sleep I would use that time to knit! Knitting is my passion, I like subverting the expectations of what knitwear is supposed to be, playing with pushing the boundaries of what is possible and creating clothes that make the wearer stand out from the crowd.

I have three domestic knitting machines that I use to knit most of my creations (they’re a bit like the knitting equivalent of a sewing machine which frustrate and inspire me equally!) I love to experiment and push knitwear to the limit and I’m driven by a strong urge to create and make.

My design ethic is inspired by sustainable and environmentally friendly processes and materials. I source eco friendly materials where I can and recycle and up-cycle too before using new materials. I also endeavour to use recycled packaging.

I come from a very creative background and have always found immense pleasure in the process of making things to fill my world and gifts for the people in my life. I've sewn since I was very little, the first of my creations being a wedding dress for my doll... who got divorced and remarried (to the same male doll...) many times because I wanted to make new dresses for her!
